Placer Dome installs SDS

Placer Dome Inc. confirms its commitment to audit compliance and mine site productivity through Fractal Technologies Spatial Data Server installation.

Placer Dome has installed its first production version of Fractal Technologies Spatial Data Server at its Paddington Mine in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Fractal Technologies' Spatial Data Server is a recently developed product from the Fractal Technologies team, designed to assist in improving the productivity of technical personal and address growing data audit trail compliance needs

Mr Matthews also highlighted the partnership of the two companies as a key to the successful deployment. "We have been working with Placer in a very collaborative way over the past six to nine months which has made for a smooth, successful installation", said Mr Matthews.

The Fractal Technologies Spatial Data Server was presented at the Fractal Technologies booth during the annual convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) in Toronto, March 6-9, 2005.
