We develop three-dimensional data management and visualisation software for the geosciences, and have
been doing so since 1992.
The Runge Group is a leader in the provision of technology and services to the global mining industry. The Runge Group leads its industry with mine planning, equipment optimisation and financial analysis software solutions. Its consulting expertise streamlines client operations from resource management to mine closure.
The Runge Group operates from 17 offices around the world and includes MRM Mining Services in South Africa; Minarco-MineConsult in Sydney, Jakarta and Beijing; GeoGAS in Wollongong and Mackay; as well as Pincock Allen & Holt in the US.
Through our acquisition of Fractal Technologies, The Runge Group now develops three-dimensional data management and visualisation software for the geosciences.
The Runge Group has incorporated Fractal Technologies into their global business. This means that they now also develop 3-dimensional data management and visualisation software (FracSIS) for the geosciences. FracSIS combines a powerful object-oriented database specifically designed to store geological, geochemical, and geophysical data with an interactive 3D visualisation environment.
Fractal Graphics, a leading geoscientific consultancy established in 1992, built a world-class reputation as leaders in the application of 3-dimensional visualisation technology as applied to the interpretation of complex geoscientific models. In early 2002, Fractal Graphics split to form the software development group (Fractal Technologies Pty Ltd) and geological consulting group (Fractal Geoscience). In July 2002, Fractal Geoscience formed a new exploration company Geoinformatics Exploration Inc.
On July 1, 2007, The Runge Group acquired Fractal Technologies. See the Press Release for more information.
